5 Best Ways To Save Space
Be A Minimalist In Style
We as people tend to accumulate a lot of things over time. Clothes, furniture, accessories, and countless other things. People tend to get emotionally attached to these things and don’t want to let them go. Eventually this makes life difficult because it crowds out the space and leaves you future options. I’d normally tell you to can the stuff, but if you aren’t ready to do that yet here are 5 other ways to save some space. What’s great about these items is not only do they save space, they also look neat and stylish as well.
1. Under The Bed Storage
These are pretty neat. People generally store things underneath their bed and forget about them. Eventually they have loads of things and can’t find anything. Put these under the bed and then you can organize your things. Simply whip it out when you need it and then put your things in there and then put it away. This is a great tool and it allows you to add much more space under your bed without it being so messy. Who knew putting things underneath your bed could actually be productive.
2. Go Digital.
Many of the things people have that eat up space can often be done digitally. For instance at one time I wanted a library and I have a bookshelf with a lot of books. What I came to realize is that I don’t need an entire library of books because I can just do the same thing electronically. The same thing applies to artwork. I have a bunch of tools that I used to use a lot of but using a tablet which saves me a lot of space.
You can store an entire library, media center, art station, and so much more in the palm of your hand. Consider loosening up on some of these things by going digital and freeing yourself. I have a business laptop which can function as a tablet and is even dual digitized. Is a great space saver and very portable. I’ll delve into discussion about this in the future.
3. Clothing Rack
These are neat little multi hangers where you can put a lot of pants or other clothing items on them. This saves you tons of space because you can have 5 or more items in the space of one! If you have a messy closet you might want to consider one. Personally I prefer to have quality and something I’ll wear often but this will help edge you out. This is especially a great idea for items you wear seasonally. Those winter clothes you don’t use too much? Put them on this hanger and hang them in the corner and forget about them.
4. Car Seat Rear Organizer
I love this item. I strap it to my seat and behind it I can put things in it. Scissors, plugs, and other containers go here as well as tools. One thing I hate is car clutter. This helps out significantly. You can even let the back out and put a book on it with some of them. Super neat! As you can see these in the photos below these are very neat looking and actually make your car look nicer. Better than having junk all over the floor like I see in many people’s cars.
5. Use As Many Shelves As You Can
People tend to use up space horizontally, meaning they tend to stack up things across the floor and the like and refuse to use the space around them, namely walls! People have filthy garages where a rack or two would often save them a lot of space. Also you can find things you are looking for easier, and that’s a time saver in and of itself. If you are a handy individual you can custom make these yourself. Why have things on the floor when you can have them out of the way? It’s also much safer because you are less likely to trip and injure yourself.
