Making Bad Goals Only Holds You Back
Previously I talked about why people’s plans don’t work and at the time I referenced the fact that people don’t make a good process. I want to focus on that aspect today because it is so important to getting what you want that it must be mentioned.
Make Specific Goals
Don’t make hollow goals that go nowhere. Your dream can be more broad such as “make $100K a year” but your goals should be more specific. Something like “make $500 this week”. When you do this you have something to strive for instead of just shooting into the dark.
Habits are an essential part of accomplishing your goals. That will you do day by day to get what you want? Most just make a goal and hope for it to happen without properly implementing the stops to get there. If you want to lose weight, what exercises will you do, will you change your diet? If so, how?
You need to measure your progress along the way and take into account your success and failures. Once you do this you can see what you’re doing wrong and what you need to change. It’s best to measure your failures and success along the way.
If you have a hard time making the first move socially then make that your part of the plan you wish to implement. It should be a priority. Often you won’t know your struggles unless you write them down.
